Youth Champion Position

The Youth Champion Position is a 2-step process
1.  Read the Youth Champion Guidelines and sign the agreement

The Youth Champion job duties will include the following:

  1. Attend meetings of the Fresno County Youth Council (beginning November 30,
    4-6:30pm at CMAC) and Scout Island Adventure (February 29, 9am-3:00pm)

  2. Develop and send a monthly report on civic service projects at your school.

  3. Interview the Principal, After School Coordinator, Activity Director, club advisors, History department chair, and anyone else who may know of service projects. Include a description of each project, and contact information of advisor.

  4. Provide and upload the following to CEC social media accounts:  photos, videos, and written materials from the projects at your school.

  5. Write a summary of projects at your school, with pictures, videos, etc. due at the end of January.

  6. Notify CEC if there are opportunities to provide support for civic engagement projects at the school..

  7. Nominate the top project at your school for the Fresno County Civic Service Showcase on May 3 at the Tower Theater.

Youth Champion will receive $1,000 stipend per semester.

Once you submit the form above you will receive an email from Titus Karvon from the Fresno Count Superintendent of Schools.

He will send you a link to fill out your job application.  Please include:

  1. A Professional Resume

  2. A Student Work Permit  - if you are under 18

You will be notified by CEC when your paperwork is processed, you have been cleared, and we have an official start date.
